P275-Italy Siracusana 15 Lire & 20 Lire Used Stamps Repubblica Italiana

These appear to be Italy “Siracusana” definitive stamps from the Repubblica Italiana period:

15 lire — grey/violet tone

20 lire — brown tone

The design is the classic head of Arethusa / Syracusan coin motif, from the long-running Siracusana definitive series first issued in 1953. The 20 lire is documented as part of that 1953 issue, with brown color, perforation about 14 x 14¼, and winged-wheel watermark.

From your photos, both are:

used / postmarked

off paper

average condition

with aged gum / toned backs

not obviously rare varieties from these images alone

For common used examples like these, market value is usually very low, often sold as:

about £0.10–£0.50 each

or £0.50–£1.50 for the pair in an ordinary mixed lot listing

That estimate is based on current marketplace evidence showing very low asking/sale-style prices for comparable used Siracusana stamps, including 20 lire examples and mixed low-value Italian used lots.

Most likely these are common collector fillers rather than high-value singles. A watermark check or specialist catalog number match could narrow them further.
