P270-Italy 25c Julius Caesar P.M. Overprint Stamp MH/Unused Vintage Italian Mili

Here’s a practical eBay draft listing with valuation in £ for your stamp.

Likely identification

This appears to be an Italy Julius Caesar “Imperiale” stamp, 25 centesimi, with P.M. overprint, from the wartime military issue period. I am moderately confident on the base type, but the exact catalog number should be checked against a specialist Italy catalog before listing as rare. Sources showing Julius Caesar Imperiale issues and P.M. military overprints support that this is a genuine Italian overprinted type rather than a standard 1929 definitive.

Price & valuation

Comparable retail asking prices for similar Italian military overprint material are generally low unless the stamp is a scarcer overprint, variety, or expertised example. General market evidence suggests common wartime Italy overprints often retail in the low single-digit to low double-digit dollar range, with specialist varieties much higher.

Suggested description

Vintage Italy 25 centesimi Julius Caesar stamp with P.M. overprint. Purple/violet design, wartime military overprint type. Stored unused in collection. Please inspect scans for centering, perforations, and reverse condition. Sold as pictured.

Because the back shows toning and the overprint needs specialist confirmation for a precise catalog number, I would avoid calling it rare or high value without certification.

I can also format this into the exact eBay title + description block ready to paste.
