Price & Valuation:

Valuation / estimated auction value:

The 1935 Silver Jubilee series is well known among British philatelists, and the rarer stamp in the set is the 2½d “Prussian Blue” error which fetches very high prices.

However, the 1½d issue is far more common in comparison.

In a Grosvenor sale, a 11/2d booklet pane (4 stamps) in superb unmounted mint condition sold for about £110.

Also, in historical summary, typical Silver Jubilee sets in fine mint condition list for modest sums.

Considering you have multiple blocks (total of 16 stamps), but assuming they are not premium quality (just decent), a rough “wholesale / collector lot” valuation might be £100 to £200 (depending heavily on condition, gum, centering, freshness).

If the blocks are of superb quality (well centered, fresh gum, minimal disturbance), you could justify pushing toward £250 to £300 or more.

Suggested “Buy It Now” / fixed-price listing:

I would suggest setting a Buy It Now price of £150 for the full lot (16 stamps) if condition is good (minor hinge, good perfs).

If your quality is excellent, you might try £200 or even £225.

Auction (bid) option:

Start the auction at a conservative level to attract bidders. For example:

Start price: £60

Reserve price (hidden): £120

Duration: 7 or 10 days

“Or best offer” (if you permit negotiation)
