Valuation & Pricing Recommendation:

Based on available catalogues and online listings:

One reference shows catalogue value of around €10 for a similar issue.

Another listing of Croatia stamps suggests modest values in the “VF unused” category for many issues.

Given condition (hinged/unperfect gum) and uncertainty of rarity, a conservative valuation might be in the £8–£12 range.

Recommended Listing Price:

Buy It Now suggestion: £12.00

You may set slightly higher if you believe your copy is in particularly good condition or has a rare variant, but ensure you mention condition and hinge status clearly.

Auction Option:

Start at £5.00, no reserve (or a low reserve of £8) and perhaps a 7-day auction format. This encourages bidding activity while allowing the market to determine final value.

Shipping & Handling (to buyer in UK/Europe):

Suggested shipping: Standard international signed-for mail from Sri Lanka (tracking)

Consider shipping cost to UK/Europe: e.g., approx £6–£8 depending on packaging & insurance

Insurance recommended given collectible nature

Note import/customs duties may apply to UK/EU buyers — mention this in listing

Additional Listing Tips/Recommended Notes:

Include close-up photos of front and back, highlighting gum condition, any hinge marks, beads of fading or toning.

Mention if catalog number is known (for example from StampWorld or Michel).

Note that minor variations (paper type, watermark, perforation error) might increase value — invite serious buyers to contact you if they wish more detail.

Indicate currency clearly (“£12.00 GBP”) and specify shipping cost separate.
