Austria 1976 „1000 Jahre Österreich / Tausend Jahre Österreich” FDC / Souvenir Sheet – Complete Set
---
Category
Stamps / Austria / Commemorative / 20th Century (1945-now)
(You might also select: “Collectibles → Stamps → Europe → Austria & Liechtenstein”)
---
Condition
Very Good to Excellent.
The item appears to be a First Day Cover (FDC) / Souvenir Sheet set with cancellation marks (on the photos I see “ERSTTAG” / first day mark) and the stamps appear attached to a presentation page.
Ensure to note: “Mint never hinged” or “used / cancelled” depending on actual status.

Price & Valuation
Valuation (Estimated Market Value)
Based on recent listings and catalogue data:
A FDC “1000 Jahre Österreich” set is listed at €11.00 in catalogue in Austria.
A “postfrisch” block version of “Tausend Jahre Österreich” is listed at approx €3.00-8.00 in Austria.
On eBay I found a souvenir sheet “Austria Scott #1042 VF MNH 1976 1,000 Years Austria” for sale.
Converting to British Pounds (rough exchange rate ~ €1 = £0.86) → €11 ≈ £9.50; €8 ≈ £6.90.
Given that your item appears complete and in first day cover format, you might reasonably value it £10-£15 (depending on condition and how desirable the collector base is).
