Description
This Swiss commemorative stamp was issued in 1980 to celebrate Schweizer Heimatwerk’s 10th anniversary (1970–1980)—a cooperative promoting Swiss craftsmanship and design.
Printed by Courvoisier S.A., renowned for high-quality Swiss stamps, this 40c piece features intricate embossed basketwork and a stylized heart motif in red and gold.
The postmark is clean and legible, enhancing its authenticity. The back gum shows typical age toning consistent with circulation but no damage.
A great addition for collectors of Swiss philately, Courvoisier issues, or European design commemoratives.
